Luxair is enhancing its travel offerings by introducing new direct flights from Luxembourg to Helsinki and Edinburgh, catering to the growing demand for seamless connections to Northern Europe. The airline launched its Helsinki route on July 2, followed closely by the commencement of services to Edinburgh on July 3. Both destinations will see flights operating twice a week, with Helsinki flights available on Mondays and Thursdays, and Edinburgh services scheduled for Mondays and Fridays.
These additions come in response to high passenger demand, as both Helsinki and Edinburgh have been among the most sought-after destinations by travelers in recent years. Luxair’s new routes are expected to appeal to both business and leisure passengers, providing them with greater travel flexibility and convenience.
The expansion is a strategic move for Luxair, aligning with its broader growth objectives and supported by a continual renewal of its fleet. The introduction of the Helsinki and Edinburgh routes is part of a larger initiative that aims to add a total of nine new routes by 2026, ultimately expanding Luxair’s network to encompass 101 destinations.
Through these new services, Luxair aims to bolster connectivity between Luxembourg and the significant European capitals of Helsinki and Edinburgh. This move not only strengthens links between these cities but also offers passengers a wider array of travel options, enhancing the overall travel experience for those flying with Luxair.
